Job Summary:

As Marketing - Global Academic Relations will play a pivotal role in fostering and maintaining relationships with academic institutions worldwide. The role requires a dynamic and strategic thinker who can drive marketing initiatives that align with the organization’s goals in the academic sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting educational products, services, and partnerships while ensuring brand visibility and enhancing global academic relations.

Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with academic institutions, universities, and research organizations globally.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for academic partners and manage communications to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies for academic collaborations, partnerships, and joint ventures.

Marketing Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute targeted marketing campaigns aimed at academic institutions.
  • Develop and manage content, presentations, and promotional materials tailored to the academic audience.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adapt strategies as needed.

Partnership Development:

  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities with global academic institutions that align with the organization’s goals.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with academic partners to maximize mutual benefits.
  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all partnerships adhere to regulatory standards.

Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Organize and participate in academic conferences, webinars, workshops, and other events to promote the organization’s offerings.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful event execution and follow-up.

Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the global academic sector.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the marketing and product development teams based on market analysis.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Track and report on the progress of academic partnerships and marketing initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on key metrics, performance indicators, and strategic developments.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in relationship management, marketing, or business development, preferably in the academic or educational sector.
  • Proven track record in developing and managing global partnerships.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM software, and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
