Basic Qualifications • Proficiency in C# and .NET Core for backend development. o Experience with Angular / React / Vue for frontend development. o Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Oracle and SQL Server. o Familiarity with AWS services for deployment and scalability. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively. • Deep understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices principles. • Knowledge or exposure to serverless computing concepts and platforms. • Prior experience in migrating legacy systems and modernizing architectures. • Ability to lead and mentor offshore teams, fostering a culture of self-sufficiency and collaboration. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently. • Effective communication skills and experience in coordinating with stakeholders across different time zones.
Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge of VB6 for understanding legacy components. • Experience converting legacy VB6 applications to VB.NET. • Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, or backend development tasks. • Experience with PostgreSQL as an alternative or supplementary database technology. • Experience analyzing legacy applications to understand and document functionality and requirements. • Proficiency in building UX workflows for new software applications. • Experience with testing methodologies and strategies, including feature, functional, continuous integration, and regression testing. • 7+ years’ experience with software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum based testing including peer review, test automation, continuous integration, continuous testing, and continuous deployment.
